Vitality Entertainment Group is very excited about our upcoming feature 'Dreams of an Eleven Year Old Witch' and we are thrilled to say that you can now register your interest to join this incredible production.
Disclaimer: We will respond to all parties, however we are currently unable to give a timescale, and due to the nature of this project, we anticipate a waiting list in the months. Please bare with us whilst we are dealing with very complicated admin.
Roles within the film
We have a range of roles available within various departments, from the 2nd 2nd Assistant Director to the makeup crew, catering and set runners. Film making is a team effort and collaboration. We have already had a huge amount of interest in the film, and for that reason, we have launched our Register Interest form below. Whilst we understand many roles will require a huge amount of experience, many others do not, and that is why we welcome interested parties from all walks of life.
To join our crew, you MUST:
- Have and be able to prove your legal right to work in the UK
- Have a valid and up to date passport
- Be prepared to complete a DBS check (for many roles)
- Be prepared for long days and a lot of travelling about
- Be patient!

We are recruiting across an array of departments, including:
Camera - As is self explanatory from the title, the team is responsible for camera and visuals on the film, led by the Director of Photography (DoP).
Safeguarding and Child Welfare - Our Safeguarding team, led by the Key Chaperone, is responsible for our child cast. We recruit chaperones who take responsibility for child cast members on set, as well as our set tutor, ensuring that lead child actors education suffers minimal to no impact, even whilst filming during term time. The team is also hugely involved in safeguarding, ensuring that children's welfare is upheld to the very highest standards, and that the entire team are aware of their own responsibility to safeguarding.
Art Department - led by the Art Director, the team is responsible for the overall design and look of the film. Whether that's the set dressing, props buying, or even the food that you see on the table being in keeping with 1500's Shropshire.
Production Support (Runners) - led by the Key Runner as directed by the Production Manager, the department is supported by a team of Runners/PA's who handle day to day errands on set, basic admin, and ensuring that hard working crew members have a cuppa tea in hand when needed.
